Products and Services: We buy and sell tickets to all major concerts, theatre performances and sporting events worldwide! We specialize in premium seating and tickets for sold-out events, including major events such as the Super Bowl, the Final Four and the Masters. Whatever your taste in entertainment, whatever your need for tickets, we're the local company that can accommodate your needs.
History: In 1990, after successfully reselling two hundred tickets to the Texas vs Arkansas basketball game, Randy formed a business plan for a private ticketing agency, which would offer premium seating for a variety of events. The model was based on the value of the added service of providing a simpler, hassle-free way for people to acquire tickets to their favorite events. In 1990, with less than $10,000 from his retirement fund built up from when he worked at Wallace Computer Services, Randy bought a computer and started Ticket City. Selling tickets to local Austin events, he built a reputation as the #1 source for all secondary tickets to the major clientele in Texas.
As sales increased, so did the size of the office and the spectrum of tickets sold. Ticket City has grown from its original staff of four employees to a staff of 40; today, Ticket City employs 25 people and has become known nationally as the source for premium seating to any major event.
