About the owner: Erika Swanner, President and Founder of FireFly has a wealth of experience in event strategy and planning. Her career began in media sales where she planned numerous advertising and promotional events for clients that included Z-Tejas, The Pier, Buffalo Billiards and many others. Later, Swanner worked at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce where, while working in public policy and economic development, she planned several corporate events and Chamber meetings that included the Jet Blue CEO Austin launch breakfast and high profile corporate meetings with city and county officials in an effort to keep a large manufacturing company in Austin. Swanner grew up in Austin. She has a Bachelor of Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations, from the University of Texas at Austin.

History: FireFly Events is not yet a year old. We have planned group tours for travelers to Austin, corporate teambuilding scavenger hunt for a local Johnson & Johnson affiliate, a high school reunion weekend in Austin, and birthday and family celebrations thus far.
